Abstract/Description
IFPRI report on its participation, on behalf of the CGIAR, in the International Conference on Population and Development held in Cairo in September 1994. IFPRI hosted a roundtable on population and food supported by the Rockefeller Foundation, and presented the results to the preparatory committee for the Conference. A representative of IFPRI addressed the Plenary Session.There are three appendixes: a summary of the results of the roundtable, recommendations for the draft program of action, and the text of Sohail Malik's remarks to the Conference on behalf of the CGIAR.Agenda document, CGIAR International Centers Week, October 1994.
