The Role of TAC and its Programme of Work in 1981: Note by the Secretariat

TAC Secretariat note on the Committee's ongoing self-examination. This discussion began at TAC 23. It was now extended to include consideration of TAC's work program for 1981. The secretariat suggest procedures in relation to review of research priorities, new initiatives, and following up on implementation of TAC recommendations. Consideration was given to a statement by the Chairmen of the Center Board Chairs on the role and responsibilities of boards, which is annexed. Agenda document, TAC 25th Meeting, February-March 1981.
