Presentation by Director Robert F. Chandler of funding requirements needed to complete construction and finance early operations of the Taiwan based AVRDC. Background to the establishment of the center beginning with April 1962 USAID suggestion for a Southeast Asian research institute devoted to the production of protein yielding vegetables to improve diets in the region.
