Interim External Review of CIMMYT, 1993: Supplementary Materials

An interim external review of CIMMYT, conducted in February 1993 by a panel chaired by Sir Ralph Riley, is contained in a separate record. In this record are the transmittal of the review from the TAC Chairman and the CGIAR Executive Secretary, TAC's comments, and the revised form of CIMMYT's response. (An interim form of CIMMYT's response has been omitted.)Among other comments, TAC agreed with the panel that research on molecular biology should have greater prominence at CIMMYT. It saw no need for CIMMYT to develop a major program in natural resources research.
